Executive Chef at Fitzrovia’s Michelin-starred ‘Pied à Terre’ restaurant, Asimakis came to London from his hometown, Athens, Greece, in October 2011.
He started working with renowned restaurateur and owner of ‘Pied à Terre’, David Moore, in 2012 and spent time as Head Chef at David Moore’s former Marylebone sister restaurant ‘L’Autre Pied’ in 2017.
Returning to ‘Pied à Terre’ later that year, and taking on the role of Executive Chef, Asimakis brings his individual style and Greek influence to the restaurant’s critically-acclaimed French, fine dining offering.
Prior to joining David Moore’s team, Asimakis undertook a stint at London’s ‘Cubitt House’ and also held numerous roles in a range of Greek kitchens; at hotels, restaurants, exhibitions and even as a private chef on a yacht.
Though the experiences were formative in Asimakis’ culinary approach, joining ‘Pied à Terre’ offered him the perfect outlet for the precision, creativity, and artistry he employs in the kitchen.
