Dean Edwards took to the Eat & Drink Stage to share his top tips to using a slow cooker.
Tip 1: Be adventurous. A slow cooker is not something to be afraid of, so whatever you've got knocking around in your fridge, get it in the pot and let the slow heat do it's thing!
Tip 2: Don't be afraid to use more economical cuts of meat. Cheaper cuts can taste just as good when cooked right.
Tip 3: A slow cooker can be a really versatile way of cooking - even for a sticky toffee pudding!
Tip 4: It's not all about the meat. Be creative with vegetables in your slow cooker.
